The Vietnamese coffee capping off a fresh filling meat filled Pho was the way for me to go! Here's some pics! Been traveling a lot lately. This is a solid choice for the area for Pho!!

FOOD - Fried Wonton: 8 cream cheese filled fried wontons. Tasty. We actually got 9 and a half though. Not complaining! 5/5 - Hungry Man Rice Platter: Chinese sausage, egg roll, grilled chicken, grilled pork, and a fried egg. Served with steamed rice and pickled vegetables. I had plenty of leftovers. Meat was flavorful. Both grilled chicken and pork has lemongrass, just FYI. I don't love lemongrass so I wish I knew. I would have ordered something else 3.75/5 SERVICE: Friendly staff. Some miscommunication or lack of communication though. We asked for veggies on the side but got a side of veggies instead. That cost $3. Also, the server asked my husband if he wanted short rib in his pho, he said yes. That was an additional $7. My husband wouldn't have said yes if he knew the price. FINAL THOUGHTS: The food was good, a little on the pricier side for Vietnamese food but it's kinda expected these days. I would come back to try other items.

With a name like Pho King Good, you expect a whimsical Vietnamese restaurant. Definitely characters in there. Wide ranging menu from Bahn Mi sandwiches to Pho and more. This is one of the only Pho places in town, so clearly they get a variety of travelers. Food is solid but not cheap. Cash only - Boo. Safety Pluses - Online menu, Delivery services available, online ordering. Food Review Pho Tai - Rare Steak ($14.25) is a small bowl of Pho. Probably should have paid $1.25 more and gotten large. Broth is better than expected as is the meat quality. Prices are on the high side. 8/10 Pho Ga - Chicken ($14.25) is for chicken lovers. Again, not huge nor cheap. Does the job. 8/10 Overall - Good Food - Good Decor - Good Service - Good Value - Good Would we come back - Yes

Our favorite place! We frequent about once a week, it's that pho king good! Order the Dang Curry Beef Stew, so packed with flavor, tender chunks of beef, veggies and medium boiled eggs. Such great flavors. I'm not sure why they have curry in the name, I detect zero curry in the flavor. My husband always gets the rare beef pho or the chicken pho. Both are delicious but order an extra side of noodles for your leftover broth and you might want to add veggies and won tons if you want a more substantial meal. In the summer or when you're not in the mood for something hot try Mike's Vermicelli Salad with shrimp, so crisp and delicious. For appetizers the pot stickers and spring rolls with peanut sauce are super yummy! I appreciate that they have gluten free options and I've never had a gluten exposure there, just make sure to make your server aware, they are knowledgeable about what is GF and what is not. Service is always great. Fast and friendly. Atmosphere is casual and clean. Bring cash, they are cash only. They do have an ATM.

This is our regular stop when we drive back from snowboarding in Tahoe-- it's some very solid pho. I wish that there was a longer list of options for pho- I don't like meatballs, so I'm stuck with the raw steak pho every time. Not bad, just not as diverse as I would like. The pho broth leans on the cinnamon side, can feel a little heavy for me but it's very yummy. The spring rolls with shrimp are THE BEST, the ingredients are so fresh! We ordered shrimp tempura, but instead were brought the calamari- which was very good, just not what we ordered. We will continue to stop by!

I was visiting Auburn with my daughter, and we decided to call up her grandma and have dinner at Pho King Good! We love coming here! It has amazing people who work here! They remember you and will continue the last conversation you have with them... Pho King Good is set up with many tables and chairs. Each table has Sriracha, chili oil, hoison, chop sticks, napkins, and spoons. We were served water right away and given straws upon request. Today, we each ordered the Kings Special - rice noodles, beef round eye, brisket, tendon, and beef meatballs served in beef broth. My daughter's grandmother and I ordered the rare steak that they put on top on the side tonight. Normally, the broth cooks that rare steak on top, but for me, it is so pleasing to the eye to receive it before it cooks... however, this time, it was suggested to squeeze limes over the steak and try dipping it in a concoction or served made up for us. Hoison, Sriracha, and chili oil. It only took about 5 minutes before our King's Special was brought out to us. So our bowls looked delicious! After pictures, we squeezed the lime on and dipped into the tasty sauce... IT WAS SO DELICIOUS! Next thing you know, we are eating our soup and dipping our meat and topping each bite with this delicious sauce. We were in heaven! Even my daughter was dipping! The broth was nice and hot, and the flavor here is spot on! It is a velvety savory flavor you can't resist! Every time I come here, I notice they put more tension in here than other Pho restaurants I have visited. Don't forget to get your Pho Kind Good merchandise here! They offer shirts and aprons. Also, refer to their chalkboard on the wall on the proper etiquette on eating Pho! We all had an amazing time with a new discovery we may be doing anywhere we go... but my 1st line and go to Pho restaurant will always be Pho King Good!
